LOCK is a digital wellbeing and focus app that helps you pause before opening selected distracting apps.

Data collection

LOCK does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data with the developer or third parties. LOCK does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking technologies, or third-party user accounts.

Screen Time and Family Controls

LOCK uses Apple’s FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks to provide its core Screen Time functionality. App selections and related Screen Time identifiers are handled by Apple’s system frameworks and stored locally on your device or in the app’s private App Group container as required for the app and its Screen Time extensions to work. The developer does not receive or remotely store this information.

Purchases

LOCK offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions using Apple StoreKit. Purchase, billing, subscription, and payment information is processed by Apple. LOCK uses StoreKit only to determine the products available for purchase and whether an active subscription entitlement exists. The developer does not receive your payment card information.

Local app data

Settings, goals, selected protection preferences, and activity used by LOCK are stored locally on your device. Removing the app may remove locally stored app data, subject to iOS system behavior.

Children

LOCK is not designed to collect personal information from children, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If LOCK’s data practices change, this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those changes are represented to users.
